How an order works

Six steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

Paste your DoorDash or Uber Eats link. We import your menu in about a minute.

  2. 02

    A customer orders

The order shows up on your phone or tablet with a sound alert.

  3. 03

    You accept and cook

You set the prep time. Busy? Pause orders with one tap.

  4. 04

    A driver picks it up

Drivers you recruited see your orders first.

  5. 05

    The customer gets it

They track the driver live on a map.

  6. 06

    You get paid

Money goes to your bank account. How often: Coming soon. Ask Jay.

Payments

We handle the money. You handle the food.

  • Customers pay BigShift by card. No card machine, no extra setup for you.
  • We send you the rest. We take out card processing only, then pay you. Customers pay our $1.
  • Every order on one statement. What the customer paid, what came out, and what you got.
  • Tips go to the driver. All of it.

When something goes wrong

Straight answers, no fine print.

Late or damaged on the way

Same as any remake. If an order goes wrong on the way and the customer is refunded, the cost of the food comes out of your payout. That's the trade for 0% instead of 30%. We charge the customer a flat $1 per order, and after costs we keep about 10 cents of it. That's how we keep your commission at zero, and why we can't cover refunds. To keep it rare, choose your drivers by rating and block anyone who keeps causing problems.

Even with mistakes, you come out way ahead

A bad order costs you about $30. A 30% app costs you far more, every single month. Say you do 20 orders a day at $30. The big apps take about $5,475 a month. BigShift takes $0 commission, and you pay about $712 in card processing. Even if 1 in 20 orders goes wrong and you cover every one (about $912), you still keep around $3,850 more every month. That's over $46,000 a year.

This only works together

One restaurant can't feed a driver. Two or three on one block can.

Drivers need steady orders, or they go back to DoorDash. That's why your neighborhood goes live when Two or three restaurants join. Every owner you bring in means more orders, more drivers, and faster delivery for you. If we stay split up, the billion-dollar apps keep taking up to 30% of every order.

Your area goes live when Two or three restaurants near each other join.

Every bag you send out can bring a customer to you via BigShift. (you lose $0)

Put a BigShift slip in your takeout and dine-in bags. Each slip has a QR code tied to your restaurant, so we can count your referrals.

Before you add slips to DoorDash or Uber Eats orders, check your agreement with them. Some apps have rules about this.
